This postcard was produced by the Borough of Ards Council and makes reference to the 'Savage' motto. I have highlighted the final sentence on the postcard in 'yellow' as the wording is in the reverse format to the original: 'Fortis Atque Fidelis' now reads 'Fidelis Atque Fortis'?
Is this motto 'back to front' or can it be read either way? I don't know!
